Milwaukee Dog's Flyball Team places 2nd

Congratulations to Disney and Mari for a very successful first tournament; Disney earned her FD!

Congratulations to Keye and Vera (new to racing as a team). They posted a PERFECT 0.00 start time much to the envy of all the other start dogs on the team.

Milwaukee Dog's Flyball Team placed 2nd in Division 2 both Saturday and Sunday of High Fives' Deja Moo Flyball Tournament! The team lost only one race per day and was beaten only by the teams that went on to win the division. The team courted break-out twice on Saturday with two fast heat times of 19.53, but had their best heat time on Sunday with a 19.41.

Kobi (Mark Anderson), Finney (Fred Kauer), Whim (Marnie Hammerle) & Teddy (Karen Michalski) put together strong, consistent runs for 2 days, overcoming a lot of challenges to insure the team's success throughout the weekend. Saturday's stars were Disney (Mari Pavleje) and Keye (Vera Hammerle). Congratulations to Disney and Mari for a very successful first tournament as Disney earned her FD. Keye and Vera (new to racing as a team) posted a PERFECT 0.00 start time much to the envy of all the other start dogs on the team. And on Sunday, Duncan (Nichole Reiner) earned his FDCH after almost a year away from racing! Also a special gold star goes out to Xoe & Kim Follett who practiced run backs with the team on Sunday and took a real step forward toward competition.

All in all, it was a very successful tournament. Our thanks to High Fives for putting on such a fun event. As usual, we couldn't have accomplished what we did without help. Thanks to Kim Follett and Mari Pavleje, who ran their dogs but also put in a lot of help to the team, Sarah Byers, Tina Felle, Nick & Kathleen Hammer & Vera Hammerle.
