The MDTC held an entertaining and informative
exhibition for two groups of 4-year old Kindergartners at
Hawley Environmental School in Milwaukee. Our training instructor's
(Kim Rinzel) son, Bejamin and some of the other children helped
us with a figure eight and the stand for exam (taught in our
Obedience classes). These members and their dogs did a great
job: Kim Rinzel and Petri, Dona
Barsul and Merlin, Karen Felle and
Tootsie, Tim McLarty and Kilt,
and I brought the newest member of my family - Dinah.
In February, members will be visiting
Clement Manor. Marce LeDuc, one of our members, is now residing
there and will join us with his poodle, Penny. Anyone knowing
of organizations that would like us to entertain them should
let us know. We can always get a group together. Members with
people/dog friendly dogs are welcome. All levels are needed
and no one will be asked to do anything they are not ready
for.
